"Victoria Daniel began her career in the Arts as a professional dancer, appearing in countless musicals on the legitimate stage and in numerous television shows. She was a featured dancer in several major motion pictures, including "Mame," "Camelot" and Bob Fosse's "Sweet Charity." She even got to rock and roll in half a dozen films with Elvis Presley. All of those years of ballet and jazz classes have given Vicky a first hand knowledge of the body and how it feels in motion, along with a true understanding of the use of gesture to convey emotion. Her studies over the years with master sculptors Bruno Lichessi, Don Gale, Robert Cunningham and Harriet Hochberg have enhanced her technique as an artist, but that special something underneath that sets her work apart was taught at the American School of Dance and learned from choreographers like Bob Fosse and Michael Kidd.
