Diego Divari was born in Santiago Chile in 1981. A self-taught artist, Diego began drawing at the age of 10. In 1996, he vacationed with his family in Europe. While in Paris, he fell in love with the Parisian atmosphere, especially the Bohemian way of life and the historic cafes and coffeehouses.

At the time, Paris was home to many Chilean personalities such as Nobel Prize winner, Poet Pablo Neruda, Garcia Huidobro and the great surrealistic artist Roberto Matta. Diego was motivated by these great creative artists that he turned his talent to paint the cafes and street scenes that were at some point populated by these Chilean celebrities.

Diego had his first exhibition at the age of 19 at the Salon Regioanl of Art for Young Talent in Santiago. He says of his paintings “My work transmits the experience of the human existentialism and materializes life's mysteries by making the spectator feel that they were in the world feeling, breathing once and then will not be anymore. I look for the excellence in my work and in the handling of the technique, so I can disappear as an author physically. I try to create with the same blind, innocent and wise instinct that moves nature.”

Diego Divari while pursuing his painting is also studying Architecture a the Chilean University.
