Dean Packer is a native of Oklahoma but has been a resident of California for years. He is self-taught and has been a professional artist for over forty years. He has shown in major galleries throughout the west. He has given private lessons, taught workshops and adult education classes. His works reside in many private collections including those of actor Robert Culp and the late Senator Barry Goldwater. He has been featured in Southwest Art and Art of the West magazines.
