"Jared Sines has enjoyed a long career,
spanning 42 years, as a fine and commercial artist. He began showing his work at
Shreve and Co. in San Francisco at age 20, and has been represented by fine
California art galleries and retail establishments on a continuous basis ever
since. Presently, his oil paintings hang in New Masters Gallery in Carmel.
His art education began formally at the Richard
Stephens Art Academy (now the San Francisco Academy of Art) when he was eight
years old. His father, also an artist and an owner of an advertising agency,
provided him with art materials, instruction and resources, and also taught him
the basics of advertising art and copywriting. Jared studied still life drawing,
portraiture, and still life painting at various institutions throughout his
formative years, and earned his degree in fine arts and creative writing from
San Francisco State College."
